This is the first post to this freshly opened blog.
I have decided to create a design blog of mine.
My portfolio site is made in flash.
I want to keep a blog for uploading recent works and also as a mean
to urgemyself create more designs during my free time.

This is such a urgent assignment as usual from Angela.

This time my lovely fashion designer friend Angela Gao needed her
2010 Spring Summer lookbook to be done in 1 day literally.
She is a super demanding woman. Last time I helped her
I was staying up at 4 am in the morning for the lookbook.
She lured me in this time telling me this will be sent to
Italian Vogue for its upcoming issue.

I was doing the layout while she giving me the retouched picture
one by one.There was not a much time for creativity.
Design is a baby, usually it need time to hatch.
For this one I kept it simple.

This collection of her is about introducing the earth tone,
and emphasize on the everyday casualty chic of the line.
I used some small stripes of the pictures depicting nature scenes
and elementsto reinforce this theme.

If I have the honer to do her future book again, I will like to take the time to
art direct the photoshot and create something more visually interesting with the design.

I love their lookbooks. They really communicate the brand image well. Thank you for Tun for the photography.
